Step 1 Enable Developer Options

Amazon hides developer settings by default. The classic 7-click trick still works.

From Fire Stick home, go to Settings (gear icon).
Select My Fire TV or Device & Software.
Choose About, then highlight Fire TV Stick (or your device name).
Press the select button on your remote 7 times quickly. You will see "You are now a developer".

          After that, go back to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Turn ON ADB Debugging and Apps from Unknown Sources. Both are required for sideloading.
        

If Developer Options do not appear, repeat the 7 clicks on "Fire TV Stick" and restart your device. This almost always works.

Step 2 Install Downloader from Amazon Store

Downloader is a simple browser that lets you download APK files. It is available officially on Amazon's app store.

Go to the home screen and click the Search icon (magnifying glass).
Type Downloader using the on-screen keyboard.
Select the app by AFTVnews (orange icon).
Click Download or Get to install.
Open Downloader and grant storage permission when asked.

          Inside Downloader, open the left sidebar (press left on your remote). Enable JavaScript and Third-party downloads. This ensures all links work properly.
        

Step 3 Use Firebreak code 250931 Firebreak recommended

Instead of typing a long web address, Firebreak uses a simple numeric code. This is the fastest and most reliable way to access the repository.

Open Downloader → click URL bar → type this code: 250931

Press Go. Downloader will load the Firebreak hub. From there you can browse categories like Movies, Sports, IPTV, Tools, and Utilities. Every app is one click away.

          Why 250931? Firebreak controls the redirect behind this code. If the main website gets blocked by an ISP, the code is updated on the backend. It always points to a working mirror. This is the official recommended method.
        

Old codes like 28907 or 730116 may still work, but Firebreak recommends using 250931 for the latest features.

If the code does not load, try using a VPN or change your DNS to 1.1.1.1 in network settings.

Step 4 Install apps and keep your Fire Stick clean

Once you are inside Firebreak via code 250931, installing any app is straightforward.

Browse the categories and select an app (example: a streaming client or utility).
The APK file downloads automatically through Downloader.
When the download finishes, click Install.
After installation, you can click Open to launch the app or Done to return to the browser.
Installed apps appear under "Your Apps & Channels" on the home screen.

          Maintenance tips: Fire Stick storage is limited. Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications to clear cache for heavy apps. Inside Downloader, use the file manager to delete old APK files after installation.
        

If you see "Installation blocked", verify that Apps from Unknown Sources is still ON in Developer Options. System updates sometimes reset this setting.

For best performance, restart your Fire Stick once a week and uninstall apps you no longer use.
